🥾 Day 1: Nature & Heritage Along the Haw River
Morning:
- Start at Great Bend Park in Burlington, Walk the Haw River Trail and Island Trail for river views and peaceful forest paths.
- Explore Glencoe Mill Village. Stroll through the historic textile mill town and visit the Textile Heritage Museum.
Lunch:
- Grab a bite at Crush Foods (Crush Cobb Salad) in Burlington or Smokehouse at Steve’s in Graham (brisket plate with hush puppies and scalloped potatoes).
Afternoon:
- Paddle Saxapahaw Lake with Haw River Canoe & Kayak Co. Opt for a Moonlight Paddle or some Haw River Tubing.
Evening:

🌄 Day 2: Mountains, Farms & Local Flavor

- Visit Cedarock Park. This 500 acre farm, offers several trails, a historic farm with animals, waterfall over an old mill dam and several disc golf courses.
Lunch:

Afternoon:
- Stop by O.V. Yonder in Graham. Browse outdoor gear or join a guided hike or run.
