“Love Letters to local shops uplifts small businesses”

GRAHAM, N.C. (August 20, 2020) — Visit Alamance is launching a new campaign called “Alamance Love Letters.” During September, the Alamance County Visitors Bureau will collect letters of love and appreciation for the local business communities written from residents and community members.

Community members and friends from the surrounding areas are encouraged to write about any Alamance business found in the various cities and towns across the county. They can then drop the letters in the assigned “Love Graham” mailbox in Downtown Graham (pictured above), located on the Love Graham Mural beside the HiFi Records building at 103 N Main Street.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to share the stories of support and encouragement that our businesses and community have provided to each other,” stated Grace Vandevisser, Director of Visit Alamance. “Our partners are such an integral part of what makes us a wonderful place to live and to visit. This is just a small way to share how we feel about their continued efforts to stay relevant in these uncertain times.”

These letters will be checked weekly in September and promoted via social media. Letters can also be mailed to Visit Alamance’s office located at 200 South Main Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
