The Collection is an Alternative Pop band from North Carolina, The new single, Sorry Baby is a playful, indie pop song about trusting your intuition and not taking outside voices to seriously. Lead singer David Wimbish says, "I wrote this one with the intention of exploring the concept of being unapologetically oneself. Sometimes that means not listening to the nay-sayers around you, even it it hurts their feelings or expectations." The Collection is fronted by Wimbish who is based in Saxapahaw, NC, while his merry bunch of bandmate friends are spread out across the state. "Sorry Baby" follows the sticky, "Won't Stop Yet," which got the bank their first chart in the Tripe A radio format and a modern viral moment on Tik Tok to boot. A 2019 NPR Tiny Desk Judge's Pick, their raucous live show has drawn accolades and major festival slots nationwide and has seen them touring with pals The Oh Hellos, RIPE, and Sammy Rae.
