Textiles & Tar Heels Heritage Festival

Join us on Saturday October 21st for Textiles & Tar Heels Heritage Celebration. North Carolina and South Carolina have designated October as the special month for celebrating our incredible textile heritage. Historically, the Carolinas were leaders in textile manufacturing and innovation. In Alamance County, Burlington Industries was one of those textile giants. This year they celebrate their 100th Anniversary of longevity and continuing success. We honor the achievements of all dedicated textile workers of early America with special museum exhibits, living history programs, and other fun filled activities in Historic Glencoe.
