Mebane Train Display

The display is open on the second Saturday of each month with occasional opening days throughout the year. The display features the collection of model electric trains donated by Mr. Tommy Long. One display area features an operating layout modeled to resemble 1950s era. The layout is composed of seven independent loops and one trolley line. There are multiple opportunities for everyone to interact with many of the operating accessories. The second area is the core of Mr. Long's collection including trains from the 1930s through the early 2000s in glass display cases.
