Join us on December 18th and 19th, 2020 to celebrate Christmas in historic Glencoe! Follow one of our costumed interpreters on a candlelight tour of the village and enjoy historic Christmas treats, decorations, and traditions. Families celebrated the holiday season here at the mill village for over 70 years from 1882 to 1954. Guided candlelight tours of the village, a look inside a historic mill home, Victorian tree decorating and doll making. Cookies, popcorn, and candy. Apple cider, hot chocolate, and tea. Museum and Gift Shop will be open for visitors. Tours will be held at 6:00 and 7:00 PM, and are capped at 10 participants each. You can reserve a tour space for $5 per person by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling the Textile Heritage Museum at 336-270-6374. Tours will last approximately an hour. Our priority is to provide a safe and enjoyable holiday experience for all our staff and visitors, and all guests will be asked to abide by current NC COVID-19 safety guidelines.
