Cedarock Campout

Ahhh, the great outdoors! How long has it been since you enjoyed a night in a tent? Join us at Cedarock Park for an entertainment-filled night under the stars. Alamance Parks invites you to come participate in this social campout event designed to capture the fun and special atmosphere of group camping. It’s great for first-time campers and the camping enthusiast alike. Rekindle your love for the outdoors and camping while meeting some new folks. Help will be on hand for novice campers. We’ll set the stage with food, campfires, and sing-a-longs, but we’re counting on you to help provide the entertainment! We invite you to come up with an entertaining, family friendly skit or talent act. You can go it solo or bring your family or friends up on stage. Don’t like the limelight? Don’t worry, you can help your group plan the act or just sit back and enjoy. To chill out after the show we’ll have s’mores, stargazing and a chance to relax around the campfire. In the morning we’ll enjoy a light buffet breakfast followed by a variety of activities to start your day: choose from tug-of-war, field games, orienteering class, a disc golf primer and much more. Registration required. Please visit alamance.recdesk.com for details and to sign up!
